I have an amazon gift card and cannot read the entire claim code. how do i redeem it

1. Locate the claim code. Note: For plastic gift cards, you may need to scratch off the coating on the back of the card to reveal the claim code. ...
2. Go to Your Account.
3. Click Apply a Gift Card to Your Account .
4. Enter your claim code and click Apply to Your Balance. Note: You can also enter your claim code during checkout.

Go to My Account > Gift Card Balance, there is an option to redeem in there.

1. Find the claim code on the card.
2. Go to www.amazon.co.uk/redeem. You may be asked to sign in to your account again.
3. Enter your claim code and click Apply to Your Balance.

Note: If your order total is more than your gift card balance, the extra will be paid for by your default payment card.
If you want to save your gift card balance for another occasion, you can choose to check out without using it when you select your payment method. Simply uncheck the box next to Use your £X.XX Gift and promotional balance. If you don't see this screen during checkout, you can click Change under the Payment Method heading on the final page before you place your order.

To redeem your gift card, go to the Amazon site and search for Gift Cards then click on"Apply a gift card to your account." . Find a claim code, on the card under grey protective coating and very gently scratch it off and reveal the claim code. Your purchases will be read in the "current Balance" and will remove the $ amount on your card, with each purchase. Enjoy spending!
