Usb connector is broken from the Iomega LPHD-UP3. I replaced the HDD to an other case but the computer says I need to format the disk. I need an other case with the correct PCB connected to have acces

Yes, remove the drive from the case and connect it directly inside your computer. Then you should have full access unless the file system is corrupted which can be repaired with the chkdsk command.

Use a USB 3 cable it will provide more usb throughput

MY IOMEGA LPHD-UP3 external/usb memory device, thinks it is full.

click start control panel administrative tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes

automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start

you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive

I found that you get best results by ticking one box then returning after it has finished then tick the other box

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "IomegaSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Look for manuals throughout the site.

The power adapter should be AC 120/230V and are you sure its LDHD and not LPHD? either way I would recommend going on ebay and typing "iomega ac adapter" in the search bar and take it from there, see if you can find one or e-mail a few sellers and see if they have one for your model, hope this helps!
