My speed Queen washing machine heavy duty model number LWS11AW-3062 the drum is not turning is causing friction and smoke from the motor and puller

Most likely a bad lid switch preventing the motor from running. Ticking sound may be the timer (if it has mechanical, not electronic) control. Could also be a broken belt, but the motor would run (there would be some noise) it just would move anything.

Washing machines kick off when they're out of balance, like if something is too heavy and waterlogged on one side. Redistribute the laundry and it will be fine.

I believe that is a 1/4" bolt with a 20 TPI.

I've used a bottom tap to clean the threads,
Next time put the bolt back in and use the puller against it instead

Yes, all Speed Queens have a stainless steel tub, some are coated, but underneath is stainless steel

Remove the belt check the idler pully- should turn freely.

If tight you shoud replace , pulley,shaft and maybe belt.

I have a related problem and I just learned on the net that the Vbelt is supposed to slip in "idle" mode while the water pump will do more work.
It is also supposed to slip slightly while speeding the spinning up so as to not cause motor overload.A kind of half clutch function that allows for slipping. This slipping is controlled by the tensioner.

My guess is that your machine's v belt slips too much and thus does not spin fast enough. You replaced the belts, I would look at the tensioner now.
