Hi...to find the password, or network key:
1) Login to your router.
To do this, open a web browser on a computer, as if about to view a web page: then type the router address, http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar.
2) You should see a prompt asking for a password. Just click 'submit' button if none has been set: otherwise, enter the correct router login password.
3) You should see the router user interface. In the left hand menu, under Wireless, click Security.
The 'Pre-Shared Key' or PSK you see there is the network key (password) you need.
Please come back to Fixya if this doesn't work or if you need help with any of it. Good luck

SOURCE: lost password
Is it a windows password or a bios password?
If it is windows then keep pressing f8 button just before the windows loading screen comes up and go into safe mode.
From there you can log on as administrator and go into control panel/ user accounts to reset passwords.
If it is a bios password (when you first turn on the computer) you need to remove all power sources and then remove the cmos battery for a few minutes. can be a tricky procedure though.

If you are wirelessly connecting you need to use a wireless card that supports dual band.
and then changnig the settings on the wireless card helps.
if you are wired the issue is with the router settings.
Upgrade the firmware on the router
see belkins website on how to do this:
