The door comes off in a very simple way. Now...I'm speaking from the perspective of MOST microwave ovens. All you should have to do is open the door all the way to the left and lift straight up. The door has mounting pins that fit into a couple of hinge pin holes. If your oven is equipped with an upper panel grid, you may have to remove it, so the door will have more clearance. Putting the new door on is just as simple as lining up the pins in the door with the hinge pin holes and setting the door in place. Close the door slowly to make sure the pins are aligned with the holes properly. If not, the door will fall off while attempting to close. Let me know if this is helpful to you.

Daewoo make some cheap microwave ovens. I have one, and it is rubbish. It came fitted in a new caravan, and because it decided to keep cutting out after only a few minutes of use, it was replaced by another that had the same problem. I know it's a cheap oven, but it should work. I wouldn't recommend this to any caravanners, and would recommend a different make.
The smell should go when the Daewoo goes!!
