SOURCE: How do I get a confirmation page of a sent fax on Canon SuperG3?

Tx (confirmation) Report needs to be enabled before sending the fax. Super G3 is an industry standard, not a model number. What model of Canon facsimile do you have? I have most User Guides downloaded...so I should be able to provide directions on enabling Tx Report. Let me know.

Confirmation report lists incorrect no of pages sent

You may have a sticking actuator arm under the feeder; or in the feeder depending on make and model.
This would allow the pages to be sent but not counted correctly.... I assume that the count on the confirmation report is always LESS than the pages actually sent, at the time you have the problem.

Confirmation page shows zero pages sent. Is there a way to set to show the number of pages sent

I would first test a fax to see if it completes on your end then is received on it's entirety on the receiving end. Then print a fax transmittal report to confirm. Once that shows success, print your polling fax report and verify.

If it says zero pages sent, chances are the fax failed.

Your machine can print reports containing useful information. The following reports are available:

    • Sent Fax Repor: This report shows information of the faxes you recently sent.
    • Received Fax Report: This report shows information of the faxes you recently received.
    • System Data List: This list shows the status of the user-selectable options. You may print this list to confirm your changes after changing any settings.

    • Junk Fax Number List: This list shows up to 10 fax numbers specified as the junk fax numbers by using the Junk Fax Setup menu. When the Junk Fax Barrier feature is turned on, incoming faxes from those numbers will be blocked. This feature recognizes the last 6 digits of the fax number set as a remote fax machine’s ID.

Wish to print outgoing fax log date/time/number

    Hi,

I don't think there's a log you can print but you can do the following. Not quite what you want, but better than nothing...

You need to set the fax confirmation option to log faxes before you send anything. The default option is off, so you won't be able to get a fax log for anything you've already sent unfortunately.

    1. Press Setup
    2. Press 2 then press 1. This displays the Print Report menu
    3. Select Fax Confirmation
    4. Press c00424037.gif to highlight one of the following, then press OK

Off Does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and receive faxes successfully. This is the default setting.
On Fax Send Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send.
On Fax Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you receive.
Send & Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send and receive.
