breaking belts is an indication of the belt going around a pulley and flexing against the belt fabric structure ( bending backwards as opposed to running properly in the groove) which indicates that the tension pulley is on the wrong position on the belt
Go to the Snapper Website, Go to Manuals/Parts lists, enter the model and serial number of the mower. Scan for the proper diagram, copy the belt serial number. Go to a belt specialty retailer, present the belt serial number. They should be able to supply the belt length, and probably the belt.
