E 97 Dry Fire Protection Can I run the filtration and the bubbles or jets to solve the problem?

E 97 is an error code that indicates a dry fire protection system has been activated in your Intex Pure SPA. This means that the spa has sensed that there is not enough water in the system, and it has automatically shut down the heater to prevent damage.
To solve this problem, you will need to add more water to the spa. Once the water level is above the minimum level required for safe operation, the dry fire protection system should reset itself automatically.
It is not recommended to run the filtration and the bubbles or jets without enough water in the system as it can cause damage to the pump and other components. Therefore, make sure to add enough water before turning on any functions of the spa.
Also, make sure to check for any other causes that may have led to the water level dropping too low, such as a leak or drainage issue. If you continue to experience issues, refer to the owner's manual or contact Intex customer support for further assistance.

How can i save money each month on my power bill. I have a intex x pure deluxe jet and bubbles 4 person spa. I use it every day almost..

Either insulate it or cover it. Also note, power companies surcharge energy use between 2PM and 6PM.
Rate is 3 times normal rate where I live. Turn it off during these hours.

Does the heater not work when the bubbles are on?

most heaters continue to work with the bubble/jets on. The real problem is that when the jets/bubbles are on, it's injecting cool air into the water and effectively cooling the water faster than the heater can heat it. The only way to get the water back up to temperature is to turn the jets and blower off. I assume you're talking about a portable spa. Most portable spas have a 5.5kw heater and sometimes they can't keep up especially if the ambient temperature is lower than the set water temp. Here in southern AZ, we have to run the jets and blower on just to get the temperature down low enough to safely get in the water.

Hope this helps.
