Zte axon 7 mini.it did an update for android and restarted. now it says I need to enter the password after restart. I never set up a password in the first place, just used my fingerprint, Any ideas?

If you turn data execution prevention off (cntrl panel, system, performance steeings buton then the DEP tab) it will work.

It is better to add only the programs (.exe) from the BIN folder of your C:\Program Files\DigitalPersona\bin folders since DEP is a good security measure against many types of attacks.

The single fact that Microsoft keeps that bug around can be seen as "you will never get security with Big Brother". It is really ugly and, as an electronic engineer I think Microsoft Monopoily as somethiung to do with NSA CIA MOSSAD and wars.

I am sorry to say what my most honest intuition tells me :)

Click on your Start Menu, then select All Programs, then select ThinkVantage. Under this menu you should see the fingerprint reader software. Towards the lower left part of this screen you'll see a button to "Delete All Fingerprints"

Since Windows is giving the "recover" error, it is most likely a software issue. Open a "run" dialog box from the start menu and type in the following "eventvwr.msc /s" (without the quotes). This will open the event viewer. What you want to look for in here are errors in the logs that are created in the Application and System logs. Warnings are not important at this time, but the errors will help to locate the offending code. It could be a corrupted driver or a litany of other things. Let me know what you find. Feel free to explore the options in the event viewer as well as clicking on any links that are in the desription of the problems as these will take you to possible solutions from Microsoft.

If you remember the admin password then you can login with a different credential (i.e. admin credential). Then you can open the finger print application and there is an option to see your old password.

Go to the keyboard settings if the keyboard is standard from the android. If this is an additional application like swiftkeyboard, then go to the settings inside the application itself. Next, look for the "input method" and select the desired one.

1. Press and hold the reset button on the back of your modem for 10 seconds to fully reset your modem to initial factory defaults.

2. Wait for the modem's Power and DSL LEDs to turn solid green.

3. Open your computer's Internet browser and your modem should launch a mini-setup routine. Enter your FastAccess DSL username in the format of [email protected], enter your FastAccess DSL password and confirm your FastAccess DSL password and click next, then there will be an "Auto Calender Update Configuration" page where you will set the auto update info and timezone info so just enter the info and click next.

4. Your browser will refresh the page and say everything is ready to go, this may take a few moments. When this is complete type 192.168.1.254 into your browser's address bar and click on the "Broadband DSL Line" tab, then on the right, click on Connection configuration.

5. Change the Protocol from the dropdown box to Bridged Ethernet Mode, and then click on Save and Restart Connection.

6. Open your computer's Internet browser again and type in 192.168.1.1 into your browser’s address bar. In the Internet Setup, change the Internet Connection Type to PPPoE and enter your FastAccess DSL username in the format of [email protected], enter your FastAccess DSL password and click on Save Settings.

7. Close all windows and restart your computer. Your internet should now be working.

I forgot my pattern lock?
1. boot the system with the WinPE disk (DOS OK, but remember DOS NTFSDOS programs)
2.DOS run Ntfsdos,WinPE not need, find Windows Vista installation path (such as C:WINDOWS),
3. delete the System32 directory under the Utilman.exe
4. copy cmd.exe, and then renamed to Utilman.exe
