My Humminbird 110 will not power up - only flashes when button is pressed.

To reset the clock on a JVC PC-110 boombox from 1994, follow these steps:

1. Press the Clock Set button, located on the top of the boombox, to enter clock setting mode.
2. Press and hold the Clock Set button until the hour digits on the display start flashing.
3. Use the Fast Forward and Rewind buttons to adjust the hour to the correct time.
4. Press the Clock Set button again to move to the minute digits. The minute digits will start flashing.
5. Use the Fast Forward and Rewind buttons to adjust the minute to the correct time.
6. Press the Clock Set button one final time to exit clock setting mode and save the new time.

Your JVC PC-110 boombox should now display the correct time.

Sounds like main board fault. Check the battery voltage too. If it is less than normal, this kind of fault can occur. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. CK your hori output Transitor and behind it is a blue high voltage capacitor 2k sometimes they will have small burt hole on them ,If it is OK then Replace your STK ICs example STK392-110 Mats has them 1-800-628-1118

If you are 'testing' the unit by holding the right button and pressing power, the pmax units really don’t work with the internal test. What you are seeing in the test is what th humminbird factory computer test used to test it. That is really not intended to be used outside of the plant. If it works fine in normal mode then I would say that the unit is fine.

I've got the 565 and everything will be working fine and then the depth
finder or bottom of the lake goes to 6ft. Have to shut it off for an hour and it works for a wile but it always goes back to doing it

This error only shows in diagnostic mode, with power off choose any buttons except stop and power, press in intervals 5 seconds on and 5 seconds off until 88 appears and all light light up. If the user panel is faulted F 2 will flash in the display, press the same button you used to start diagnostics to jump to the next error code and once through 88 will flash and diagnostics will start. Sometimes once F2 flashes and the machine has not been repaired it will stick at that mode.
