Suunto Core watch - my watch is locked in the compass mode. How to I get it unlocked

go into the time setting mode and you will have an opportunity to select "12" or "24". 24 is military and 12 is civilian time.

On your Suunto Core press and hold the mode button for two seconds to get to the menu.


Select "Units."

Under "Units" select "Time."

Under "Time" you have the ability to select "12" or "24."

For those with expired warranty: buy a proper set of screwdrivers tips e.g. on DX (WeiTus 45-in-1 multi-bit screwdrivers set should be all right) for about 12$. Open it and you will understand and fix the issue in less than 5 mins...keep it clean and dust free, wear gloves during operations. Good luck!

There is no hourly chime on the Suunto Core.

I would contact Suunto with that issue.
