My Dyson vacuum when running is pulsating and shut off instead or running continuously

Sadly it has run it's coarse. Most of these we see at the store only last less than 2 years. Not really made for repair.

Remove the filter and rinse it with cold water and air dry it for 12 hours. Don't use detergent when washing your filters. If your DC44 Animal makes a pulsating noise then shuts off, it's very likely there is a blockage in the floor tool, wand or bin inlet. It's easy to check for this - just follow the steps in our Support guide:
