No sound? The only solution I've found is to get a USB headset like the Logitech USB Headset 20. I have had this same problem with my Tecra 9100 for almost 6 months. I tried on a pair of USB Headset and it works! because it bypasses your internal soundcard. The downside is that if you have a great pair of speakers on your laptop, then it's kind of a waste that you can never use it. But at least, with this, you can now listen to CDs and chat on the internet

The problem is that, according to the specs for that TV, it doesn't support 1080p.
That's a 720p television you've got. (Specs here)
While the specs say that it supports 1080p, the resolution says it supports 1366 x 768, which is only 720p, not 1080p or even 1080i.
You may want to contact Sony for clarification, because their specs for that tv are contradicting each other.

I had the same problem with this software when trying to install it on Win Vista. After realizing that my attempts were futile,( cuz it wasnt designed for this os and there was no easy fix, other than reverting my machine back to XP ), I stepped out on to my front porch and threw the d*mn disc frisbee style out into the street...at which point a fat little kid picked it up and stuffed it into his back pocket and waddled off happily with his new possession. I wish the little fat bastard lots of luck with it, and hope he has an XP equipped machine to install it on, I'd even give him the product key if he asks for it...LOL
