is your security light on.. a locked padlock on dash???
when you disconnect the battery you "killed" the memory stored in computer like the key codes so car wont start..
need to take to dealer to reprogram computer.. also check your radio i'll bet it also not working... also your remotes
It is hard to give a definite answer because I don't know which and how many wires were damaged...Anti theft can be a real HEADACHE.....You can begin by disconnecting battery cables..Use your VIN number for parts,Get new ignition with a programmed factory key from dealer only.....They probably blew certain fuses and or relays when this happened...Or maybe not..Install new ignition connect battery cables..,turn switch on just to check for bad fuses and relays...Disconnect battery again...replace any fuses blown...Connect battery again...( Each time you disconnect battery it resets the computer system and should clear anti theft codes..)..make sure all doors are unlocked by using door remote key fob....Now see if vehicle will crank..If all is done correctly it should start...However I don't know how much damage was done.....It may possibly be too much work to totally disengage anti theft....You could start with removing all fuses and relays related to anti theft but disconnect battery before...I DO NOT RECOMMEND trying to disable the theft system.....You may create more headaches that you want.......Begin by trying what I described just to be safe...!!....
You can kill the engine with the PTO clutch on and then turn the PTO off before trying to restart because the PTO will auto disengage when the engine switch is turned off. The engine should not start if the PTO switch is on.
Try to install a known good battery. Not just the booster cables. See what happens if everything comes on, then buy a new battery if it works.
Look for all fuses relay switches that say battery or plus on it. Check that they are not burned out . It seems that the current was cut from the car entirely. it can also be the ECU or Electronic Computer Unit.
This is definitely not normal that everything just turned turned off like that.
see this steps and fix it. God bless you Clutch Cable Replacement
The clutch cable provides a means to "break the drive" between
the engine and the wheels. The engine spins constantly, but the wheels
do not, so in order to stop a car's wheels without turning off the
engine, the wheels have to disconnect from the engine. When the clutch
pedal is pressed, the cable disengages the plates, allowing the driver
to shift gears or coast without killing the engine.
A failing clutch cable may make the clutch pedal difficult to
depress. If the clutch cable fails, the clutch pedal may remain on the
floor and not return to its normal position.
To replace the clutch cable, disconnect it from the clutch pedal
(usually inside the vehicle) and from the release mechanism or cable
attachment that operates the clutch assembly (usually at the
transmission beneath the vehicle). A new clutch cable is then installed
and adjusted. (The specifics vary according to the vehicle and range
from straightforward to very difficult.)
you may hav a bad alt. problem with the mower dying when you engage the pto is most likley a bad sensor or wire unplugged on the seat sensor.the way it works is if the blades are turning and it dosent sense you being on the seat the mower shuts down.this has been standard on mowers for quite a few years now. it keeps the blades from cutting you up if you fall off the seat while mowing. as for charging i would try cleaning the battery connections and get the battery checked first.
Have you tried adjusting your clutch cable? If the clutch was bad you would rev the engine in gear but the bike would not speed up as it should because the clutch was slipping. But if your cable is out of adjustment pulling the lever may not be disengaging the clutch. You should find the adjustment at the clutch lever, should be a larger locknut and a smaller adjusting screw. You want about 1/2" of freeplay in the lever before it starts disengaging the clutch.
Did it stall with a big **** like you didn't pull in the lever or did it just die? If it died, maybe the sidestand switch is faulting, killing the engine because it thinks your kickstand is still down.
