I have a Vulcan Sahara electric wall oven that works perfectly except the for the warmer.Does the warmer have separate element

The oven, fan thermostat, timer and grill work perfectly. The warmer switch does not appear to do anything. Is there a separate element for the warmer, if so, where is it located? Regards Alex.

Sounds like you need a new oven element fitting.

    SOURCE: Fan oven element

The test is fairly straight forward: Make sure the unit is off. Generally, there is a screw which holds the element in place near the connector. Remove it and the element will slide out. Now, use a resistance (Ohm) meter and measure the resistance across the terminals. If the unit is visibly damaged or you get no reading (use the 1 K ohm scale), change out the element. If the unit tests good, suspect the control or the wiring from the control to the element.

SOURCE: no heat when i switch oven on

There is no doubt that it is the element that has failed, so all you need to do is replace the fan oven element.
If you can see a removable panel at the rear of the oven ,remove that, and you should see the element.
    Remove and replace.
If ther is no removable panel then you will have to access it from the rear of the oven cabinet.
    Plz rate my solution.
    thanks,

    Fan and element not working

hi not sure if you've had a reply but when my zanussi main oven stopped working i just changed the element (purchased from e bay).
open oven door and the back you will see 4 screws(basically 4 corners) remove these screws and you will see the element, pretty straight forward to remove, obviously fan wont work until you have heat (hopefully fan ok) you can give this a go, cheaper than buying a new oven. i have done this twice. hope this helps.

    Oven doesn't reach temperature setting

It could be the plug/receptacle that the element plugs into. It could also be that the elements have separate thermostats and that the one for the lower element is bad. If you can post the model number I can look at the electrical schematic and know for sure if it has one or two thermostats.

    No heat to the oven

if the heating element "rod" doesn't turn orange (hot) when it's on it's bad so; remove the heating element and get a new one from an appliance parts site on the web and install it don't forget to unplug the range first!

GE Wall Oven - No heat (broil or bake)

On appliances like this only the heating elements use 220 volts. things like the clock, fan, etc use 110 volts. That is why some things work and other do not. Start at the breaker, sometimes a double pole breaker will have 1 side tripped, but will look perfectly fine. switch the breaker all the way to off then re-set. If nothing changes follow the power to the appliance remove the panel and look for some fuses, check to see if any are blown. Also sometimes the microwave will have a separate power source even though its built in to the same appliance. So that's not always a good symptom to follow.
