SOURCE: hi have a pmp3000 what are the most suitable bass

Have you considered any of the Behringer cabinets that are recommended companion pieces for this mixer. For more expensive gear have a look at JBL cabinets. The EON series is good. Have a look at what other bands you know are using and listen to their sound to see if its what you like.

Check: monitor levels, microphone position, grounding. Is it possible the feedback is due to EMI noise off the power source?

I am no expert about such things but the electric guitar pickups work with steel strings, wouldn't work if the strings weren't steel - the pickup is a coil of wire and the vibration of the steel string generates an output in the coil the amplifier can work with.

The pickups of the acoustic guitar are presumably glorified microphones that would usually work in a similar fashion to the above, by generating an output but if they are active devices they will need a power supply in order to generate an output, something a standard amplifier input will not provide.

An active device either needs an independent power supply to make the device work like a radio needs a battery or the device will create the output by varying the current flow of the voltage applied across it.

Why won't play through amp and tuner not working

well my guess (from experience) is that, if the battery was inserted correctly and you know its good. and you know your cord is good and your volumes are up. then chances are the pick up ( which are very touchy in those) has gone bad and needs to be replaced. which if the guitar is fairly new. have them just switch out the guitar or send it in for the repair.

I have a Takamine acoustic eletric guitar model number eg560c serial numbers 2413693 how do i get a deeper tone do i put on a heavyer gage string ?

Heavier gauge strings will make it a little louder but bear in mind that this is an electro-acoustic guitar - you may prefer the sounds of an all-acoustic guitar designed to produce optimum sounds in an acoustic environment.

Epiphone EJ 200 CE/AN Electro Acoustic Guitar Wiring Diagram

Does this guitar have a esonic 2 system, if so the other pickup is piezo pickup located under the saddle, there should be two wires coming from the pre-amp just remove the pre-amp from the body and make sure that the two wires are still plugged in and attached to the pickups, these are plugs like a small headphone style plug, just check these and the wires are held in by small wire clips, one of the wires may have came out of the clips...hope this helps I will look for a schematic for you and post it if I find one...Good Luck!!!

Acx1800 no bass very small volume, brand new amp.how do i put my speakers in phase?

If you are sure that the input device (I'm assuming electro-acoustic guitar) is working properly then it sounds like a clear case for return to the vendor! If it is brand new then don't even try to repair it. The phase buttons on the guitar channel are to help reduce feedback by putting the body of the guitar out of phase with the speakers. The speakers should all be in phase with each other though.

When I plug the guitar into an mixing board/amp no sound comes out. From the mixing board, I can see that the mixer is receiving a signal but still nothing comes through the speakers. I own a Fender...

If the mixer is receiving signal, then the problem is pilot error at the mixer, not the guitar. You did not mention what type of mixer you have so I have no way of helping. Common problems would be failure to send the guitar channel to the mixing buss, leaving the channel muted... but we really need the mixer and model number to give more help that that.

I would expect there is bad soldering or a circuit board crack. Inspect the soldering aound the leads, especially pots and heavy components. Finding all the retaining screws can be frustrating. Expect the screws for the handle to also attach to the amp chasis. They are often hiodden under plastic caps.

IF YOUR GUITAR has a built in tuner, make sure the tuner is off as it disables output while tuning... The other thing is to check if you have a volume control on the guitar that might be set too low.. Make sure if you are using 1/4 inch plug guitar cable that it is NOT a TRS balanced cable, as that will turn off the power in the guitar.
