General Electric Double oven wall unit

The top oven will not heat (bottom element), and neither will the broiler element. I changed the bottom element about 4 years ago and worked fine--now it will not heat. Do the elements need to be changed or could it be something different? The lower oven is just fine.
Thanks,
Jayne

I have a double oven, GE model JK 25005WH, serial # AP 602520G. A service man told me that he thought I needed a Thermostat. He was told that they (the stores in Ohio) do not carry them anmore. Where can I find a thermostat for this older oven? It's the top oven. The bottom oven works great.

Frigidaire double convection wall ovens, model GLEB30T9DSA ... The top oven will not heat, both the bottom element and the broiler.....

I have the Frigidaire PLEB30S8CCA single wall oven. About 3 months ago the baking element appeared to have gone out. We replaced it, but still didn't work. We ended up sending our control board off to a company named Corecentric. They fixed the problem and returned it to us. The oven has worked perfectly ever since. I searched extensively for a new one, but no one sold them anymore. I found Corecentric on Ebay. They were able to confirm over the phone that it was more than likely a control board issue. It cost about $130. My husband was able to do it himself by taking a couple before px and using them when reassembling it.

Dacro Wall oven (electric) does not heat past 345 degrees on bake or convection bake but broiler works and bottom oven works fine (for bake, convection bake and broil).

it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area

Broiler doesn't turn on completely

The top element should come on when Broiler is selected. If both ovens have a broiler mode, then look for something failed in the circuit for the broiler heating elements (it's unlikely both broiler elements would fail together.). If there is only 1 oven with a broiler, look for a failed broiler element.

Oven will not heat - Thermador SMW272 Electric Oven

since you said the broiler does work , take the wires off the broiler element and put on the bake . then when you put on the broiler the bake should work . the light bulb principle, just remember to wrap all loose wire with electrical tape and disconnect from wall while working.

Frigidaire GM deluxe electri dean (electric oven wall unit)

if you feel through the insulation you can find the two wires that attach to the element pull them through to plug the element back on but there is no plug per say but first are you sure the element is good were there no wires on the element when you removed it should have been two spade connectors with wires on them attached to the element hold my rating till you reply
