I've had photo impact pro 11 on my computer for about 2 years. It has stopped working all of a sudden. I deleted the program and tried to reload. It just stalls half way through the installation. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

I tried everything over 6 months.
Finaly used REGEDIT.
Searched for any PURHD .
Found plenty , tied to corel pro3.
Deleted ALL enties manualy, no damage.
Fixed at last!!

1.Uninstall all of MFL Pro



2.Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Brother\ControlCenter
3.Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\brother\ControlCenter 4.Reinstall MFL Pro

If you run a repair with the recovery disc you won't lose any info. The only time you'll lose the info is if you run a complete reload. Run the system disc until it gets to the point of finding installed operating systems, at this point instead of deleting the partition, press R and it will reinstall the operating system files only leaving other installed files and programs intact. Keep in mind that many times when this happens, it's a hard drive failure. If it is a hard drive failure, then you will have to replace the hard drive and you will lose the info, sorry.

Yes, you can! These photos are highly possible to be recovered as long as you take the right steps before it is too late.

First things first - Stop using the camera to take more photos immediately! Then connect the device where your lost images located to a PC which has installed photo recovery software. If you are running Mac, go to Mac photo recovery software.

Remember - DO NOT write anything back untill you recover the photos safely. Once the photos are overwritten, it is impossible to recover. Best regards.
