What is the ratio of gas to oil for a 35cc engine

Mix 3.2 ounces of Poulan 2-cycle air cooled engine oil to one gallon of fresh unleaded gasoline to obtain the recommended 40:1 fuel to oil ratio.
Over a period of time oil will separate from gasoline. To properly insure oil and gas mixture, I recommend thoroughly shaking your oil and gas mixture before refueling your unit.
If the saw is to be stored for longer than 30 days - drain the fuel tank, re-tighten the gas cap, and start the unit and let it run until it stops.

I have a sears 2 cycle mini tiller that worked great for the first hour but now won't start.

Do not use pre-mix fuel. Clean carburetor. Check age of gas. Cannot be more than 30 days old.
Make sure to use fresh gas w/synthetic 2-cycle oil @ 40:1 ratio (1 gal.) Gas to 3.2 oz. Oil) .Do not use old or stale oil/gas mixture. Always use the proper oil/gas mix. If you do not, your engine will suffer rapid, permanent damage.

Need to know the gas and oil mixture for a Homelite 2 cycle weed wacker

Check your manual for the proper gas-and-oil mixture. For almost all modern two-stroke engines, a 50-to-1 mixture is recommended. That requires about 2 1/2 oz. oil for every gallon of gasoline.

What kind of gasoline?

  1. Check your manual for the proper gas-and-oil mixture. For almost all modern two-stroke engines, a 50-to-1 mixture is recommended. That requires about 2 1/2 oz. oil for every gallon of gasoline.

  2. Use only two-cycle oil for your mixture. This oil is made especially for these engines and can be purchased at gas stations, hardware stores or any other place where you buy regular motor oil.

  3. Pour the proper amounts of gas and oil into a fuel can. Shake the can well to mix it.

  4. Label your gas can with the mixture ratio. You can use the same mixture for other two-stroke engines.

  5. Shake your fuel can thoroughly every time you refuel. After a while, the oil will settle out of the gas, and shaking it up ensures that the oil and gas are properly mixed again before you put the fuel into your chainsaw.

Correct gas to oil ratio for Homelite Mighty String Trimmer Model

most trimmers are 50:1. or 40:1. i would use synthetic 2 cycle oil and use the 50:1 ratio. i know guys with trimmers that require 50:1, and they use synthetic at 80:1 with no problems for years. they say the engine runs cleaner. i am a part-time lawn care operator.

Need Gas/Oil Mixture

How tiny is the bottle? Don't follow the advice of the entire bottle to one gallon. Bottles come in different sizes. The correct mixture is 50:1. this equals 2.6 ounces of oil for each gallon of gas. You can do the math from there to match the size of your fuel can.

I hope this helps.
