Remove the 4 screws in the back of the unit. With a jeweler's screw driver carefully pry open the unit enough to get the screwdriver inbetween the front and back panels. Begin to slide the screwdriver down between the two panels causing enough seperation to begin pulling the pieces part. The two pieces snap together so use caution in order not to cause damage preventing reclosing the unit.
Sounds like the sd card is beginning to give you a problem, if you can find another sd card or just buy one, (they are less then 20 bucks now) copy the software from the original sd card and put it onto the new card. This should clear up the problem since it sounds like the cards lock is worn down to much for the sensor to feel it.
Hi Mart136, Were you able to get XCSoar to work on your Navigon 4310? I have the same problem with XCSoar and my Navigon 2100 Max. I did exactly as prescribed for installation on the XCSoar site but my 2100 Max keeps asking for the Navigon SD card .. it doesn't want to recognize a standard SD card. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thx Much!
