Most phones the security code is the last four digits of your cell phone number. If that's not it, try dialing *288 and pressing 1 when promted. This will reset your phone and then the security code should be the last four digits of the phone number. This is at least the case with MOST cell phones. If not, bring it to the nearest store location of your phone provider and they can reset it Hope this helps Please rate my solution! - Frankie
Using the default "last four digits" unlock code will not work because switching to NAM2 changes your phone number, and hence changes the default unlock code. You have to find out your new phone number (and new unlock code) under NAM2. Do this:
Get to the dialer screen.
Dial #43574357* (#helphelp*)
Tap "1. system info"
The top two entries, MIN and MDN are your new number. Usually they are invalid phone numbers (000-000-????) but the last four digits are your unlock code. Write them down or remember them.
Well I just had this problem happen to me and i felt like telling somebody how to do this because it really helped me. It took me 6 hours to figure it out. Well you go to your calculator on your computer and go to the menu selection on the top and click scientific switch it to hex and if you take the battery out of your phone, the first thing you are going to calculate is that really long number that is the last long number on your phone where your battery goes. only use the last 8 digits of it and type it into the calculator after it is in, click the DEC selection and there will be a decimal you will need to copy down the last FOUR digits of it. After you have done that you will need to make a quick download (DONT WORRY NO VIRUSES!) what is called hash calculator. Once you have downloaded it, Launch it and you will see at the top it says data format, click that and make sure is says "Hex-sling" Okay? then look at that place in your phone again and it will tell give you a number with a 14 digit number usually beginning with an A. Type that in. Then uncheck everything on the left hand side of HashCalc but SHA1. Then click calculate and you will see a number next to SHA1 so copy down the last 6 digits of it. Okay? then go to the scientific calculator again and type in 80 then the last 6 digits of the number you were given in the HashCalc. and then hit DEC and it will give you a number. THE LAST FOUR DIGITS OF THAT NUMBER IS YOUR LOCK CODE!!!! :))
if you're looking to view the security code, you need to dial six 0's not four. If you want to get into the programming menu dial #073887* fastly and enter the six zeros.
what you can do is press ##DATA# (##3282#) then go to ADVANCE, VIEW, and last LOCK CODE..... there you go now you are able to see the lock code in which your for is currently on!
