SOURCE: Stoves 900G gas oven stopped working

A lot of times the problem is with a dirty or a clogged burner. Make sure the burner is clean.
If you have a pilotless model, it uses a spark igniter to ignite the gas, which works in a combination with a spark switch (located on the burner gas valve) and a spark module. Because it is not simple to test these parts and find out which one is defective, we recommend to contact a professional appliance technician.

If you got to:

Then click on youtube videos, and in the search box type in: fitting oven door hinge, you should be able to get all the info you need to help solve your problem.
Please leave a fixya rating for my suggested solution.

SOURCE: STOVES 600 oven door wont shut properly

open the door about 30 degrees, lift straight up to release the hinges, this will allow you to remove the door.
you will be able to assess the hinges from there.
most likely the hinges are just out of alignment

SOURCE: Jenn-air JJW9630CAS - double wall oven -door won't close, even after hinges replaced

On my double oven the bottom door was not closing by at least 21/2 inches the upper door would allow the light to stay on . Upon close examination this problem appeared to be the door was too low which did not allow the gasket to seat in the oven cavity, holding the door open. new hinges and receptors did not resolve this condition. This is how I corrected this condition. 1 open the doors one at a time and lock the hinges.2 remove the doors from the receptors (be careful they are heavy) and set aside. 3 remove mounting screws holding oven in cabinet. 4 slide oven forward enough to hold onto receptor sockets on left and right sides lower and upper 5 remove receptor sockets by removing the screws in front of oven(be careful to hold on to the receptor so it doesnt fall behind oven into cabinet)7 with a center punch punch a start point 1/8 inch above the existing screw holes and drill appropriate size hole for screw THE HOLES MUST MATCH UPPER AND LOWER RECEPTOR OR THE SCREWS ON THE LOWER DOOR WILL SCRATCH THE UPPER DOOR .8 attach receptors to oven in new holes 9 slide oven back into cabinet and replace screws removed in step three 10 attach doors into receptors and push locks forward into receptor cavity attach lower door first and check for operation then upper door open slowly and check enough clearance exists for the screws on the lower door miss the upper door . If more clearance is needed elongate the holes drilled earlier(repeat steps 1 through 5) and slide receptor up on upper door. NOTE The receptors are not in a sealed space in the oven cavity and are not exposed to any heat. Periodically check the screws for tightness. After performing this procedure Both doors close all the way and the light is no longer a problem Now 20 minutes cook time MEANS 20 MINUTES COOK TIME.
HOPE THIS RESOLVES YOUR PROBLEM !!!!!

The bottom oven door does not completely shutThere is a gap from which heat escapes. The door shuts but then drops open a very little way when pressure is relinquished

When the door is open, you will see some small cross head screws near where the hinges go into the door. These should be tight. If they are, then it could be the hinge failing. Try espares for a new set of hinges, but be warned you will have to take the entire oven out of its housing and both side panels off to get the the hinges.

The door on the main oven doesn't close properly. i think its a hinge problem rather than a seal problem.

Check the small screws in the door where the hinge goes into it. If they are tight then it is possibly the other end of the hinge. Unfortunately, to get to that you will need to take the oven out of its housing and then take the side panels off to gain access to the hinges.

The hinge on the main oven door of my heritage 900ef needs replacing. Where can i buy one from please

Well, you can try STOVES and see what they will charge, and/or try espares. Once you have the part number, google that to see if anyone else can supply.
You may want to think about replacing both hinges and the springs at the same time, to ensure the door works/closes properly. Also, check the rubber seal round the door, then tend to become brittle when at the end of their service life, so it may pay to include that with the order as well.

The right hand side of the main oven has broken

You have not given much information to go on, but I am assuming that you mean the door hinge has broken.
If it is a drop down door, then you will have to replace the hinges as a pair.
If it is not the door that is the prob, then I need more information.
Thanks

Dhow do i remove stoves efa600H oven door hinges?

1. Open the oven door and remove the 2 screws at the side of the inner glass window 11cm above the hinges and lift off the door. Place it somewhere safe!
2. Remove the 4 screws that you can see nearest to the left and right edges of the oven with the door removed. These secure the oven to the kitchen unit.
3. Slide the oven forwards about 20cm out of the unit, being careful not to pull on the cable.
4. Each hinge is held in place by 2 screws at the side of the unit now exposed, about 18cm apart. Remove them and slide out the hinges. Reassembly is the reverse of the above.
5. Note that the hinges have no means of adjustment. If not working properly, renew them.

Main oven door does not shut properly

i removed the side panels which exposed the hinge mechanism. I have then removed the whole door and the associated hinges by simply unclipping the retaining springs.

Dismantling has revealed that the pivot pins have become dislodged from their housing, and this is why the door was not shutting properly. I am now spot welding the pins back into position.

Also noted is wear in the slots in which the pins rotate but am hoping that it is all still serviceable as I think spares for Stoves are expensive.

One other point to note is the very poor design of the whole hinge assembly. Not what I expected from Stoves.
