The manual for these old Orbit controllers POORLY explain the setting function for multiple stations. In a program (A/B/C) all stations you set up will run when that program starts. And all stations on the same frequency, Daily, etc! I found that I need to place station 1 under Program A, and station 2 under Program B, in order to properly schedule my plants, and my trees, for individually different watering schedules. So yes, in a Program, only set up ONE start time under your first station, and then all will run consecutively. Use Programs to separate your station's schedules.
Sounds like you have multiple start times. unplug, remove battery after 5 minutes plug transformer back in and install battery. If unit is ne return it

Have you programmed the new one with all the info for date and time? Did you set the zones for the days you want and watering times?

To reset your timer, you'll need to replace the 3 AA batteries then press the reset button on the back of the housing.
If you'd like to refer to the manual, you can find the manual at orbitonline.com. Just click on the "manual and guides" link under the "Support" heading found on the left hand side of the home page. Enter the model number of your timer "62015" and click the quick search button. Your search will provide a link to the manual in up to 5 different languages in a pdf. file format. Click on the manual of your choice. Once the manual is downloaded (this will take a second or two if you have high speed) onto your computer you can print out the manual for future reference.
Hope this helps.

You don't program each station. You only program one start time that begins the cycle that consists of the three stations.
Remove all start times but the first one and make that 5:45.
Set the station times to whatever you want, 12 minutes.
At 5:45, station 1 starts.
at 5:57, station 1 shuts off, station 2 starts.
at 6:09, station 2 shuts and station 3 starts.
at 6:21, station 3 shuts.
