How do you change the battery in a black dice flow watch

You need to open watch case back using appropriate tools. There are two batteries in this model - one for each watch movement. Unscrew/un-clip battery contact. Memorize polarity (+ and -). Take the battery to your nearest watch battery shop or watch repair shop and buy the same one. Fit new battery back in watch (remember polarity!). Fit back contact as it was. Close the watch case back. Set the time. Done.

Professional battery installation, doesn't turn on, is there a power on button? Or do I need to take it back and have them try again?

There are only a few Authorized Polar Service Centers. If you did not take it to one of these (which provide a 90 day warranty) they may have broken something or put in the wrong battery.

Polar and other HRM's are mini computers and actually quite delicate inside, they are not normal watches and while many watch repair places profess to be able to fix them, more often than not they cause a new problem. They are also repressurized with a special machine to keep them watertight, your watch is most certainly not watertight anymore and will eventually cause yoiu problems.

Too answer your question, no power on switch, if the battery install was good you would see a display. Take the watch back to the shop, and if they can not fix it, send it to Polar and then have the shop reimburse you for the repair. Polar will be happy to send them a detailed and Itemized account of what they had to fix.

Polar F6. After the new battery installed the display is very weak - allmost invisible. Battery is the same type and new for sure. Othervise it works just fine. Beeb sounds are strong and everything. Just...

I had the same problem, the screen would be sharp when adjusting setttings after battery-replacemnet only to fade as soon as seconds after startup.

In my case the solution was to dissasemble the watch, use a toothpick or whatever to remove dirt from the copperplate lines (three long lines and one short line) that connect the hardware-part of the watch to the screen (the backside of the screen has lines that correspond to that of the copperplate lines on the frontside of the hardware-part).

Hope this helps, it worked out great for me!

Installing a new battery in a Polar F4

Follow that contact (you say pin) all the way into the movement and you will find it hooked (clipped) on the plastic hook. Take tweezers and unclip it by pulling the leg outwards from hook.

Rate, please.
