Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Pull up older posts. If the remote control is found OK; check and replace the infra-red sensor inside the TV. My roku remote is flashing green and wont work with new batteries

The Roku remote needs to re-paired with the Roku Player.
Open the Battery case on the Roku remote (Roku 4 remotes) look for a button and hold for 2 seconds this will then sync it to the Roku player.

My roku remote doesnt seem to be working

The batteries and either low or dead, or the Remote needs to be Re-paired with the player (Roku 3 and Roku 4). Open the battery cover on the remote and look for a small button and hold it for 2 seconds, this should make it start to resync with the Roku Player.

Just hooked up the streaming stick to HDMI to the TV. nothing is showing up, What do I do now?

Sounds like you have a bad connection on either your roku stick or your HDMI PORT.Does you ROKU stick show a white light if not check power cable or electrical plug.
Try wiggling ROKU stick just a hair or push it in and out until you get a signal..A purple screen with the words ROKU should show up on TV.If you have a bad port on TV it would have to be replaced but this is rare,if you have a second port on tv try that.Have you tried your ROKU stick on another tv?Does your streaming stick go in vertically or horizontally,if it goes in vertically it may be pressing against side of tv prohibiting a good connection. You could try a HDMI cable, plug the HDMI cable into tv and put ROKU in other side of cable. There is also a restart button on ROKU stick push it and it will start blinking,if it doesn't light up you may have a defective ROKU stick.

Roku remote will not work roku on screen but remote not responding. Green lite flashes on but voes right off but only sometimes.

I presume you have a box and not a stream stick.Try unplugging ROKU box. Many units have a button you have to push on remote after plugging in ROKU box, this connect Remote to ROKU box.If this doesn't work take out batteries in remote and put back in,this has to be done after you plug in ROKU box.Are batteries weak, try some new ones?

ROKU STICK IS NOT STARTING AUTOMATICALLY.

Check plug in roku stick and in electrical outlet for a good connection pull out and push back in..Their is a small reset button on ROKU,push it ,it will then show a blinking white light,if not you may have a bad roku stick.
Hook up ROKU stick BEFORE you put batteries in remote, after you put in batteries you will have to push button near batteries.
The remote should start blinking a green light this means it is trying to pair up with roku stick. If it does a purple sceen will appear on tv.Push home button remote and tv should give you a code. This code has to be entered at ROKU site link on computer.

Remote doesn't work

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check it by pressing all the keys. You can detect the presence of infra-red emission from the remote control, using a cell-phone camera. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. In some cases, the remote control might need to clean.
