That's mod needs to be done by a radio shop. Try to find a decent on. Not just any cb shop. They shouldn't charge any more than $25 for that mod. We are in TX.

Take it to a good cb shop radioactiveradios do really good work on connex radios

if your radio has mic gain it may be that its turned up to high and it will cause feed back.

Plugged in heard talk then nothing lights still worked but no power signal. help

probably sent enough power thru the reverse polarity diode to burd it but still have enough to keep lights on.

I have a cx-366ce cb cannot hear talking what is wrong

Is squelch turned too high that it is blocking too many signals?
Otherwise, it could be a faulty cable on the mic as the PTT button disconnects the speaker on the CB and a broken wire can cause the speaker to be disconnected.

1 mile range on cb

Check cables and connectors.

• check antenna SWR,

A good SWR ranges from 1.2 to 1.5.

• check power output.

I just got a used connex-366ce and was wondering what the 3rd led in is for in the channel window . possibly for xtra channels? if so is there a mod cant find one on line yet.
