That is bad T-CON board which is part of the LCD panel assembly, not much you can do. You can try seating the connector on the T-CON board to see if it will solve the problem.

I have exactly the same problem with my LG Studioworks , its around 5 years old. I have removed the bottom stand of the monitor. Now I have to wait around 10 minutes and then the screen is normal. But any shock or vibration causes the half screen again. Hitting it gently or harshly! (at times) does make it normal again. please advice how can solve this problem
