they cant tell what you are logging into it would possibly have the same IP address if your laptop is in the same connection as the other unit.The IP is unique to your router or modem connection via your ISP, so I doubt they are the culprits.
You cannot log in in more than one place, so make sure you are only logging in after you have logged out of any other machine.
Other than that check your firewall settings it may be that it has decided that that site should not be used for some reason.

If your laptop is older, it may be incompatible with the "new" version of facebook. Since facebook no longer gives the option of using an older version, you may have to either upgrade your laptop or use another computer to get onto facebook.
If it's not an older laptop, make sure you have the newest version of firefox or chrome installed. Both of those browsers should work.
If neither of these are the problem, you may just have to wait it out. I've had times when facebook would never fully load, but it fixed itself a few days later. Good luck!

what is the error it is giving, hope you are connected to internet through WiFi or service provider, check password and username settings on phone.
