I have an EW 36 scooter with brushless motor

My EW 36 scooter it is only 2 years old but now has very little power in low gear and struggles to pull away it is fine in high gear, just very slow @ 7.5mph (11.5kmh) and it should do 16mph (24kmh) it has new fully charged batteries, if I try to ride over a "small hump" I can fell the motor "humming like its chattering or stalling" it is trying to go but has no power to move, if I flip it into high gear it go's ok then, but it is still slow at 7mph, I have checked out the wiring loom it look ok, could this be a throttle, power converter, or motor fault? as it only really plays up on low speed,, could it be a dead "mosfet" in the power controller or a "hall censor" and do you know were I can get a repair manual, even a photo copy will help me out, as no repair company will even look at my scooter here in Britain also were can I get spare parts from? every repair company I have asked for help have told me to throw my scooter away as its just cheap junk from china, I hope you can point me in the right direction thanks

SOURCE: clutch slipping on cordless drill. need spare parts to repair.

Are you sure you do not have a tourque adjustment problem. If not I do not believe Makita will want to send you parts,you would have to know what is precisely wrong and by the time you went back and forth you might as well find nearest dealer for repairs and google search Makita.com for service parts near you + zip code to get your drill fixed.

SOURCE: 1990 silverado 5.7l struggles under load only when just off idle

With all you've done so far I'd have to say that I'd be tempted to take it to a good tranny shop just for sake of a diagnosis, which the mechanic can probably do free of charge, and a little drive down the road. Almost sounds like it's trying to take off in second gear or something. Other than that, the only thing that comes to mind at all is possible plugged exhaust, like catalytic converter.

SOURCE: DOESN'T PULL WATER OUT OF AIR

You're gonna have to do a little work but there should be and electric motor shop in any large city that can rebuild YOUR motor. (found quite a few listed under <electric motor> in the GR,MI yellow pages)

SOURCE: throttle control won't work after i cleaned the

Hi again Ed,
Starting at the carb throttle shaft, your linkage rod (with tiny spring wrapped around it) should be connected directly to the governor's arm. If there's more than one hole in the arm, connect the rod in the upper-most hole.
Now, at the base of the governor's arm is another hole (possibly on a tab jutting from the arm). The main governor spring should be hooked in this hole and then back to the sliding throttle control that moves when the lever on the dash is moved. (This one definitely has a tab and hole.)

The choke cable end hooks directly on the choke shaft and it has intuitive movement. Verify that the choke butterfly closes and opens relative to the cable control on the tractor's dash.

To insure that we only do this procedure ONCE, and we get it right the first time, let's set the internal governor to base-line at this time.

With everything bolted back up, move the throttle control lever on the tractor's dash to full throttle. Then get a 3/8 wrench and a slotted screwdriver and locate the round governor shaft coming out of the engine block. The governor arm attaches to this with a clamping-bolt. You will notice that the round shaft is slotted for a screwdriver as well.
Loosen the clamping bolt slightly with your 3/8 wrench, insert your screwdriver and rotate the round shaft clockwise until it stops. (It has VERY little travel, so turn it both ways to verify that your are at FULL clockwise position.)
Hold screwdriver there and move the governor's arm in the same (clockwise) direction until the carb's throttle is set to WIDE OPEN throttle. Still holding the screwdriver clockwise, retighten the clamping bolt with the wrench.
Next, move the throttle lever on the dash of the tractor to idle and back to full several times and observe the carb's throttle shaft, it should come down from full throttle to idle and back again freely.

Start the engine and be prepared to shut it off if it over-revs.
If it doesn't over-rev, your base-line settings are correct.

By bending the tab on the sliding throttle control (the one that has the main spring attached) you can now increase or decrease spring tension and change top speed of the engine. Do this in small increments and if you have a tachometer for single cylinder's set top speed to 3400-3600 RPM.

Sorry this is lengthy, but as mentioned above, we only want to do this once.

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask away if you need more info!

Mi Ew36 is about 6months old, but now the charge lasts only half the distance compared to when it was new. What could be the problem?

First, I'm not a EW Tech.
* Check your warranty and call for service.

*** The following is for information only.***
* Most power loss and low power stem from blown fuse(s), broken or burnt wires and/or connectors. Locate and replace bad wire.
* Problems with charge or gradual power loss is usually the battery system. Since this is most likely a Lead Acid battery (flooded or Gel) then those need to be checked (load tested) and replaced. Do not expect these batteries to last forever. Most will last about +200 charge cycles. Less if the battery is stressed (deep discharged,High temperatures, Over charged).
* Lead Acid batteries concider a charge cycle to be when ever charging. Even if the charger is removed prior to a full charge and discharged, this is still a charge cycle. Short charging is not recommnded. Top off charge is a cycle charge.
* Follow your MFR charging instructions.
* Check Battery; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgEiNp8l_PE
* Check Fuses; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgK2l6cMCc4

* Review EW36; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_NcgxUgAvE
* you may want to upgrade to Lithium Ion Battery Pack (with BMS) which will have a higher cycle rate (+1000)

driving range of 20 to 38 miles per charge depending on unit. Check out our E Wheels electric power bikes, and mopeds that goes 20 plus mph. Want a fast outdoor mobility scooter, check out the EW - 36 that goes 15 mph.
