Black screen(no picture, glowing edges), The current state of the screen is grey with a single vertical blue line on the far left hand side of the panel. Sound works! Voice commands work!(without visual) At first, before the failure occurred the screen had green vertical lines on the right side only, after powering off the unit, the screen turned Black. After pressing the power button 2 times the screen stayed black, but after the third press the left hand side of the screen was normal, the right side was black. A personal troubleshoot lead me to think the T-con Board was at fault. Now I'm not sure! Multimeter shows out of norm volts on the ribbon cable connectors (so rather 6v continuous across the pins, its odd readouts of 113.00-0.102mv), NO GRND WAS FOUND upon test on either side of the ribbon connectors. Disconnecting the left side ribbon of the (T-con to Buffer board assembly) turns the left side white then fades to grey... Right side turns to vertical purple lines that very in withs (ever changing)... I Don't Know what this is and LG will not warrant a TV 2 moths out of warrantee. I don't know how to use a multimeter (I only know to GRND with black probe, and test with Red one.) I only know the basics of how Tv's work! I believe it is a 15/100 ratio the panel is at fault. I'm sure this is internal! Too many veribles in code and too littel panel obscurities. After all the TV is only 1yr old! They Say: "Life's Good" I say: "Not when my Brand New UHD TV Goes Out And They Don't Warrant it!"

if removing all accessories from the tv along with a power cycle does not fix the issue, please perform a factory reset. Otherwise, you can setup a home repair appointment with Home Depot or Geeksquad/Bestbuy.
It is most likely the edge connector on the actual lcd display. They are extremely hard to deal with. You can test this by pressing in the area of the line at the edge of the screen to see if it goes away
The main board and the power supply is bad for your TV and it would be more easier to buy a new TV than to try and fix the current TV that you have and that our TV could of had died on you.
