Indesit WIA 101 Machine wont start.No power - Indesit W 123 Front Load Washer

hi something similar has started happening to our washer, after the initial wash starts the machine doesn't do anything for a while then the red door light flashes on and off very quickly as does the 1st and 3rd green wash cycle light?

HI,
Check back of washe with a flashlight for a bent or clogged drain hose. Do not move washer to check it. When you move it , it will straighten out and you will never know if it was bent
Also while it is pumping , pick up end of drain hose at drain and observe the volume of water being pumped.
If no water then the Pump may need replaced

The circuit board behind the button has probably clipped out of position. This is easy to fix and shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
1. UNPLUG THE MACHINE 2. Remove the two screws holding the lid of the machine in position. These are at the back, underneath the lid overhang at the outer edges. 3. Slide the lid of the machine backwards and it should just lift off. 4. You will now be able to see the circuit board and re-secure it behind the little plastic clips. 5. Replace the lid and test the machine.

Sam. The small nut and bolt which protrudes between the element ends should be loosened but not taken off. Press on the bolt, which will relax the compression on the rubber sealing block. This should allow you to extract the element. Once you have done this it will become clear..

At first thought it was door lock mechanism was at fault but proved it to be ok - removed rubber 'boot' which on this model was on two stretchable spring retainers and checked operation of door lock.
Thought door hinges may have been bent so dismantled door, finding the problem to be the pin that the door latch pivots on had come out on one side so not lining up properly. This was easily pushed back into position.

to open do power off after 5 min open the door with power off

this could be your interlock this is what sends power if this is not working the washer wont work simple way to test is close the door and bang the front of the washer were the interlock is if its a faulty interlock or a lose wire then it may start up but more then likely that it is the interlock m8
