There aren't any such drivers. The drive control protocols are standardized. Just do Windows Update a few times and make sure the thing's connected when you restart storage subsystems (pretty much a reboot; though installing Nero will of course get things going if you don't love Vista built-in tools.)

This is a usual issue. You have to replace it. May be issue on DVD encording circute.
Get it replaced....

you should not need to go to the ASUS website Click Here Select "optical storage" "DVD-RW" and select your drive from the dropdown list.
You will then need to select your Operating system and then you will be able to download your drivers
