Just follow these steps to fix out this issue:

1.Verify that the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet.
2.Verify that the cable cords to all attached external devices are securely connected. Use the standard 75-ohm coaxial cable cord to ensure adequate signal frequencies.
3.Move magnetic interfering appliances to another outlet. Computers, air conditioners and other loud devices are prone to interfering with TV signals.
4.Disable the "Motion Naturalizer" if the screen jumps erratically. Press the "Home" button on your remote control, then press "Video Options Settings." Press "Motion Naturalizer," then press "Off."
5.Reset your TV to factory defaults if it still fails to work properly. Turn the TV on while holding down the up arrow button on the remote control. Re-enter your Parental Lock settings and any other customized settings. Resetting your TV erases this data.

SOURCE: my sony bravia has no audio when used as cable tv

Check the connections between the cable box and the TV. If you are using scart check the connector is in squarely if using rgb or composite you need a separate audio connection using the red and white phon sockets.

SOURCE: Just purchased a Vizio 37" HDTV with Netflix app

The Vizio does not have Internet capabilities. You need to hook up a computer via the VGA or HDMI port. Then youor computer controls what you do with the intenet.

SOURCE: I just got this Vizio

Before you go to any more trouble troubleshooting potential hardware and/or connection issues, look at this page of reviews on Dell's site, taking special care to read 'Review 8' by an owner named 'Milwsport'.

SOURCE: the tv goes on but the apps display with netflix,

Try restetting the TV by unplugging for 2 minutes then retrying it. If it still fails then there is most likely a failure on the main board in the TV

I have Sony Bravia KDL-46HX800 3D TV. My Ethernet connection stopped working. I can't get IP, my Sony blueray player doesn't have such problem (it is connected to the same net. switch). TV say

use a straight thru to connect directly to the router. Cross overs are typically used when connecting PC's directly together or daisy chaning routers or switches. Try a different port on the switch? Also from a pc, go to the DOS prompt and try and ping your TV. If your TV IP settings are all correct, and your network equipment is working, your should get a response from pinging your TV. If you don't, I would suspect a problem with your TV Enet port.

I recently got a DAV-HDX576WF system. Everything works well but I dont get any sound from the left side when in TV mode, Im using a fiberoptic cable for the sound from my TV

Failure of a digital feed can't be channel-specific. The bitstream either works or it doesn't.

It sounds more like an analog audio feed with a failing channel cable. What path does the "TV" audio follow before it gets to that fibre optic cable?

I'd draw the sound from the Cable Box and bypass the TV.

How to connect camera to sony bravia tv.

Connect your camera in RCA cable (the one with a red, white, yellow connector for audio/video connection). Then connect it to your Bravia TV.. Set your Bravia TV in video mode, (the mode when you're playing DVD player in your TV)..
Note: Your video mode depends on where you connect your RCA cable. There are up to 3 video mode, Video-1,Video-2,Video-3
Then turn on your camera..

40" Sony Bravia has intermittent audio failure.

I have a KDL-46VL130 with the same problems. Audio on the HDMI connection turns on and off intermittently when I have it connected with my ATT Uverse rcvr. I check w/ Sony online support and they led through the standard troubleshooting process ... which I knew going in would not fix the problem. Ultimately they told me to try a new HDMI cable first, or try a different video source for the HDMI, other than my ATT U-Verse reciever and see if the problem persists. Having seen other articles on this issue, i am almost certain that is not going to fix the problem... and to think that I paid $2000 for this thing.

Connect cablebox/dvr to sony bravia

try yellow cable into the green y input.

The problem is that av output is going into component in
If the green port doesn't work I read on another forum that
you may be able to use a dvd recorder unit to take the av in and then it can re transmit the video to an output as component out on some dvd recorders.

Blue screen, have AUDIO ON ALL CHANNELS!

Make sure video cable is connected on right socket. for instance AV1. test cable box on other tv to see if it is transmiiiting picture. If so make sure your tv is tuned to cable box if using RF cable or on slected av mode where av cable is connected

No sound from TV thru sony bravia hdx576wf; DVD & CD audio ok.

Could be a sync calibration issue. Try to divert the TV sound to another input source on the Hometheatre system if possible, if it is a go then maybe the TV audio needs to be recalibrated. Make sure TV audio setup menu option has not changed also.

Sony Bravia Dav-HDX279W and comcast HDTV Cable box connection.

Like above, use an optical connection (need fiber optic cable) or a coaxial connection (single RCA cable). HDMI might also work, but I personally haven't checked. Connect the audio outs from the cable box to the audio ins on the home theater. The TV will only need a video connection from the cable box, as well as one from the home theater (for DVDs, onscreen menus).

This discussion can help you set up the universal remote.

Problems with hearing sound from bravia LCD tv through bravia DAV-HDX275 theatre system

The fiber optic port on back on your bravia tv is only for when your using a over the air antenna and watching local atsc channels in your local market. You need to run the fiber optic from your hd cablebox if it has one or your hd sat box if it has one. If you don't have a set top box with the fiberoptic port on it you can use a digital coax cable from the cable or sat box to sound system. The only other way to get sound if you don't have a cable or sat box is to run the red and white rca audio cable from the tv to the sound system and got to the audio setup on tv and turn the tv speakers off and you might have to adjust the audio to fixed instead of variable.
