HOW CAN I Simplify on a rational expressions on a TI36XPRO

If a number can be expressed as a ratio of two whole numbers then it's rational.
Alternatively, if a number can be expressed in decimal with a finite number of digits or as a repeating decimal then it's rational.

Haha it's not an expression which shows you are not crazy.

It is a fractional formula in which the top and bottom line are algebraic polynomials, whether low order (like x + 1) or higher order (like 4x^3 + 8x^2 - 7x + 5). See here

A rational number is a number that can be expressed as the RATIO (see rational) of two integer (whole) numbers. 8 is an integer, and so is 3. The number 8/3 is a RATIO of two integers :it fits the definition of a rational number.

If the results' display mode is set to exact, the calculator will give you exact results.This means that if the result has radicals you will obtain a rationalized expression: any radicals left will be in the numerator. This is the default behavior of the calculator when display mode is st to EXACT. There are no more simplifications to perform.
However (because I am not certain what you mean by simplification) I will add that if any number in your calculation has a decimal mark, the result will be given in its decimal representation. (Is this what you mean by simplification.
Further, if you do not care for exact result switch the display mode to APPROXIMATE.

A rational expression is a ratio of two polynomial expressions.
Example R(x)=P(x)/Q(x) where P(x) and Q(x) are polynomials of the indeterminate x.

If your calculator is SetUp for Math Input/Output (MATHIO), a result that gives a radical will remain in radical form. If a radical appears in a denominator the whole expression is rationalized: Any radical left is put in the numerator. 1/Sqr(3) is displayed as Sqr(3)/3.

All calculators can calculate the sum of two numerical expressions (no letter symbols).
To be able to declare that this calculator can add two rational expressions ( with letter symbols or not) and displays them as a rational expression (result) I would need to know the EXACT Model.

16a power of 2, -8a,),,(1/4a-1) are these two prolems polynomials, to be multiplied togethor? is 4a to the third power-18a squared+8a, used the distributive property

This calculator cannot handle symbolic algebra.
Use the rules to simplify the expressions: Get rid of the parentheses using distributivity od multiplication with respect to addition; group similar terms (terms with x, terms without x).
