Top side control. 90% sure by your description of problem. Buy the topside, plug it in and try it before you do full install. If it doesn't work you can return it. Most places won't take back a PC Board.

My spa is at 89 and its set for 104 and the pump will not cut on what is the problem

You may be in economy mode. Economy only heats the water during a programmed filter cycle. You want it to be in standard mode which turns on the hot tub once the water is 2 degrees below the desired temperature. There should be a mode or program button on your topside. One some systems you'll have to hit prog/mode button then the temp up button to change the mode. There is also a sleep mode. Never used it not sure what it's for.

I can't get my beachcomber 350 out of economy mode, cannot get the heater on.

If you are pushing the buttons in the correct sequence to switch modes from economy, standard, sleep, vacation, etc. (all systems have different modes and different sequence of buttons to push, to change this) then your topside control panel could be bad, or the circuit board.

good luck

Balboa hot tub.. how to turn up the HEAT / TEMP , no owners manual, and does anyone know where I can get one?

You do not have a Balboa Hot Tub. That is the company that made the control panel for it. Id venture to guess it's either a Hawkeye, Barefoot or Master spa if it came with no owners manual. To turn up the heat simply press the Red "up" arrow on the digital control pad. Check out the link below. It's a quick reference guide to what I'm guessing is your top side control.

How do I get my hot tub back to standard setting instead of Economy mode

This is a combination of buttons on your topside. Either push the mode button and the up/down arrow of the temp settings or the jet button the up/down arrows of the temp setting.

My pacific hot tub has LOC on the display and i cant adjust the jets or temp. Is the display locked and how do i unlock it?

Mike,

Yes LOC is a standard topside lock code.

Try these common unlock codes,

Press & Hold Jet Button for 6 seconds
or
Press & Hold Temp Up & Temp down for 6 seconds.

Possibly your jet button is faulty i.e. it is broken internally or when it is pressed the button sticks in the on position and locks out the panel.

If those common codes don't work let me know which brand/topside control your spa has and I will get a more specific answer.

Why is it in economy mode when I want it at 104 degree and get into it?

In economy mode the spa is only going to heat up during a "Filter cycle" Check your manual and set the spa into "Standard Mode" so when you bump up the temp. on the topside control, the pump should kick on & the spa should heat up.
depending on your spa you may have a "Mode" button that will fix this or you might have to press two control buttons at the same time. Your owners manual should explain this.
Good Luck!

Cannot get temp to raise

I would go for the sensor first. It is in the easy to afforde range and easy to install along with more sucpeteable to falure. If that dosen't help then you can still try the board.
