The power supply don't operates - INFOCUS X1

The X1 infocus power supply was damaged. It takes probabily a short circuit during the installation of the projector. The fuse and the parts like the fet 2sk3528001 and (termistor?) US-802 is damaged. I ask you if there is another parts damaged, and what parts I have to change in the power supply.
Thanks in advance - Osvaldo

Try to check the fuse if still working by using a tester.

it's the fan. if it won't spin full power, it can't cool down the projector and it'll shut down. there are 2: 60mm (part # 526-0153-00) and 80mm (526-0152-00). both can be purchased from infocus or an infocus service center.

Infocus projector power supply dead

the caps dry out. look for bulging caps. you won't find a schematic for the ps boards. infocus had someone else make them. the problem seems more like a overheating issue. as for the other one with the "just the fans", check the colorwheel.

Ballast

you have to go to an infocus authorized service center. you may be able to purchase it from them without having them put it in. check the infocus website for an asc. but for reference, the part # for the ballast/power supply is 520-0126-00 if there is a "0" in the 5th to last position in the serial #, and 520-0143-00 if it's an "a" in the 5th to last position.

Hi there

You could most probably do that yes , it's normally only the Mainboard that is different.

Infocus x2 dose nothing

Assuming the power outlet and cable is OK the most likely problem is the power supply and needs to be replaced.

LP540 INFOCUS

good luck. not even the infocus authorized service centers get those. besides, they were made by another company that does not make power supplies antmore. and infocus doesn't have any new ones in stock. if you're getting no power at all, replace the mosfets. it works half of the time.

InFocus X1 power problem

something blew the fuse the first time. if it blew again, the issue remains. something may be arcing. check near the plug, or if there is anything bouncing around in there or a crossed wire.
