possible that over night your set took a power surge ,possible power supply fault.

If the power "flickers" and unit fails but will restart once the breaker is reset, this sounds absolutley normal. It is a safety device that keeps the unit from burning up things due to improper power being supplied. As long as resetting puts it back into service with no issues, don't worry about it.

If it's winter, you may need to get rid of ice built-up inside that's keeping the fan from turning. Turn the power off AT THE FUSE BOX, open the top of the unit by removing the 4 screws, pour boiling water onto any ice at the bottom until melting, dry with hair dryer a bit, then turn unit back on.

A fairly quick solution is to turn the unit OFF & unplug it for 15 - 20 minutes. Once the time has elapsed, plug the unit back in & turn the ON/OFF Switch to ON. During that time out, the electronics should have reset and reverted back to the original factory settings. You should now be able to set the controls as you like.
Hope this helps and thanks for Choosing FixYa.
