What is the height requirment for gas range 8114P733-60 to overhead microwave/ventilation

Code probably depends where you live. The distance is usually listed with your gas range information. Look for the specs information on your particular gas range. It will list the required distance from sides and top.

That information will be included with the installation instructions.

Only happens when cooking a big pot under the microwave? Hosing thermal fuse / thermostat kicks in to cool the microwave. Is the micro. Installed proper height above the range? Are you using the fan when cooking on the range?

It depends greatly on the ventilation but if you use 20" above the hob, as a good starting point. If you have extractor fans, maybe less. Don't forget the grill gets hot on top of the oven but there should be at least 10" clearence between the grill top and the microwave base, more if it is gas!

This should be addressed to the vendor of your unit.

cut the cabinet off. a cabinet maker can do it and you can tell if they ar good
