SOURCE: Sharp Aqueous 37" LCD TV

From the information you have provided failed capacitors in the power supply is likely causing the problem. The safety circuitry shuts the TV set down when it detects a problem. This model of TV has over 2,000 parts which include millions of transistors inside the integrated circuits. The capacitors will change value, leak and become defective. Resistors will change value and burn. Integrated circuits and transistors can go bad. This can cause other components to become defective, which can have a domino effect and cause other parts to fail. Replacing one defective part may make the TV operate for a short time but the part will fail again since if the parts that caused the failure to begin with are not replaced. The only way to know for sure what is causing the problem, which parts that are no longer within factory specs and for proper repair all the electronics must be diagnosed by someone with the correct electronic test equipment and the skills to use the test equipment. The repair should cost about $250 if carried into a TV repair shop. A small TV repair shop will often charge less than a large repair facility.

Turn the tv on and the green light blinks and then turns off and comes back on then turns off again but the screen is black. What is wrong?

KDF 60XS955 intermittently turns off green light blinking then on after...
The frequency and color of the blinks will indicate the issue. There is a hold-down button sequence to try to backdoor your way into the set to see if the panel will light. You may have simply racked up too many "weird tuner faults" and need to reset it. My suspicion is that it's either that or bad panel backlight.

Unplug set, press and hold (on set) volume-down and channel-down and hold them while pluging in set. Will come on with "k" on screen, or will crash again if backlight bad. If it stays on, use your remote and arrow right then look for "fact init" and any other reset and turn them on. Arrow back up to "fact init" and hit enter. Let set recycle to green and unplug/re-plug in 5 seconds: the set should be in OOB state

I have a LCD-60LE640U sharp Aquos TV. There is no power and the white arrow blinks twice. 1st arrow blinks 1 sec and 2nd arrow blinks 1/2 sec. Any solutions?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience.
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

Sharp Aquos TV doesn't work, power light is blinking at 1 blink/sec

Sounds like a fault code, ~I have found some info on it:-

I have a sharp aquos lc-c4677un its not turning on at all now. When I push the power botton on the tv, the power light turns on and about 2-3sec the power and opc light start to blink and thats about it.

How are the power and opc lights blinking? Do they blink simultaneously or does one blink then the other? How many time do they blink per second? Also have you had it fixed yet? and if so what was done? I had a similar problem with my set.

to reset the lamp hours,
simultaneously press down the bottom right MENU/HELP button, and the centre ENTER button and the centre bottom DOWN ARROW button.
Then with a spare finger press the top left STANDBY/ON button.
LAMP 0000H should be displayed. it is now reset
