2-7/8". I bought 1/8" diameter brass rod from lowes to fix mine, works like new.I'm assuming you are referring to the impeller shaft ?

Use a brass rod 1/8" dia x 2 7/8" long. Plastic welding will not work as stated above. The original impeller shaft ceramic.

SOURCE: Need Intex Pump model #635 impeller

You know, I have made some amazing repairs on plastic items using nothing more than a soldiering iron! If you have the piece that broke off, you can carefully melt it back together. You can add more to the weld if you match the type of plastic but not too much or you imbalance it. In this case it looks like PVC. To repair it without the missing piece, form it out of epoxy putty, roughly shape it just before it sets up solid, & sand to finish.

Intex Purespa SB-H20: leak in top connector between spa control unit and tub.

Question edited for clarity, name of maker.
Question moved from washing machines.

For water rushing out, try and block from the other side so water doesn't reach the part you are undoing. Here is a parts diagram and all the washers and O-rings. Your local pool supplier probably carries them.

As soon as i switched the filter on i got the E90 right out the box. I checked the seals, the water flow sensor & made sure the filters were on right. Can it be the empeller when the spa is brand new?

anything is possible new doesnt mean free from defects --and if brand new notify manufacture before touching as to not void warranty and their pump is a known problem its a magnetic plastic with an under sized ceramic shaft that breaks can do online search about them

My intex spa will not heat I get what I think is an error code E95

pump error --will need to take pump apart and replace the ceramic rod that holds pump in place --intex doesnt sell parts for pumps go to home depot and get a brazing rod $ 10 for a bundle will only need about 3'' clean off flux and replace unit --reason for brass is its a magnetic pump the links show how and where to remove pump but not completely repair [ using the brass rod ]

Where to get impeller for intex purespa pump

A short term fix for this is to replace the small porcelain rod in the impeller with a 1/8"x 2 7/8" brass rod. I had some laying around from a project for my boat. I usually get it from Lowes in the hardware section. It's in the hobby drawer. It has to be these exact dimensions or it will not fit and will tear itself apart fast. There is a very detailed video on Youtube. "How to repair Intex PureSpa pump (Error 90) by Youtube user John Cornwell. Thank you, John!
I have looked at other more durable options like possibly using a high nickel alloy such as 4140 stainless. the less ferrous, the better.

My Purespa's bubbles wont work. The air pump keeps blasting the air and dislodging this one balloon clog piece. What can I do to make it stop dislodging this piece?

Is it plugged in "All" the way?

Possibly whatever "Retaining" lock grooves that kept it in originally, was smoothed out with the removal of it? Maybe a new piece will correct this?
