Wire ring that holds rubber seal on next 100 washer has come off

There's a wire ring, with a spring for tension, that holds the inner rubber seal in place just in side the door on the Nexxt 100 washer. This ring has come off, and I cannot get it back on. Any sugesstions on how to get it back on? Everything I have tried keeps pulling the rubber seal off of the holding points.

Loosen the screw (mine has one) and slip it over the hump and into the groove. Don't overtighten. IF all you have is a spring, slip the top of the ring over and into the groove and slowly work the remainder over and down by holding the spring part apart until you get the ring clamp as far over as possible. If you have some silicone spray, this will help.

Whirlpool Front Loading Duet Washing Machine Plastic at drum front shredding

i think your talking about the rubber door seal????
you can change this yourself,,,under the seal on the case is a wire spring unhook it and the door seal will fold inside the washer,,,on the inner drum you will find the other wire spring undo this as well and pull the old door seal out through the hole in the door,,,the new seal is fitted to the iner drun first so you need to turn the new seal inside out to fit it,,,push the seal into the washer and fit the inner wire first then unfold the seal and fit it over the outer door so you can fit the wire spring,,,
easy after you have fitted a fuw 100?

Washer leaks during spin cycle. my daughter pulled the drum out of alignment temporarily while pulling a comforter out of the washer. the door seal is intact although there is a wire ring that came out...

The spring goes around the door seal it needs to be stretched around the small lip that holds the seal in place. The spring is where you grab it with needle nose pliers. the spring goes on the bottom. You will see where the rubber seal has a wider spot this is where the spring should be right at the 6 o'clock position. This is a little tricky to do the first time trying but keep at it you will get it.

The rubber piece in the front of the washer is pulled up and the metal large ring is not in place not sure how it goes back on

If you are referring to the wire hoop retaining clamp that holds the door bellow (rubber gasket) in place, it installs the following way:

1. Install the bellow over the frame of the door opening and ensure its seated and snug all the way around the perimeter.

2. Beginning at the top of the door, start inserting the wire hoop into the rubber groove of the bellow that is located around perimeter of the door frame. Make sure to wire spring points towards the 6 o'clock position.

3. As you work your way around the door frame to the 4 and 8 o'clock positions, you will need to maintain some constant downward pressure while pulling the spring apart in order to get it to snap into place.

It would be helpful to use a second set of hands to hold the wire hoop in place while doing this as it has the tendency to want to come out of the groove.

The wire hoop is known as the front door bellow clamp.

If you have any problems, or further questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Bosch Classixx - Rubber Door Seal - I heard the easiest way to get the inner ring back on is to remove the whole front panel - How do I do this?

Not recommended, tilt washer backwards, and work spring on with your fingers, slowly going round the inner lip of the seal, it helps if you can get someone to help by holding the spring in place as you work your round the seal.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
