hi
try to perform maintenance of your printer
on the setting
and open your printer clean up the nozzle
use alcohol and cotton buds and then placed it back properly!!
SOURCE: Scanning as PDF
I see from Lexmark's site that your printer can scan to PDF Using the Productivity Suite buttons. The manual is here
But if that doesn't work for you...
I use PDF Creator.
It is a windows program that installs a printer driver that allows you to select it as a printer from any program and will create a PDF file.
For example, you can scan as an image, then open that image in an image viewer then print it to PDF.
SOURCE: Last print line of any doc printed with HP J6480 is cut off
I had been experiencing this problem intermittently for some time, so I finally got a hold of HP support and with the second support technician, I did get a solution that worked for the document I was printing at the time. When Printing, click Printing Preferences, click the Advanced tab, under the Printer Features section, set Minimize margins to On. Per the technician, 'The printable area of the product increases (bottom margin 12 mm to 3 mm), so
that printing closer to the edge of the paper.'
Also, he recommended using the printer's Print Preview option under same the Printer Preferences window. When I did, I did in fact see the document's bottom paper being 'cutoff' with the old settings (i.e., Minimize margins Off), with it On, it look okay.
Hope this helps. Let me know if this works for you.

go to control panel and click printers, right click printer and select properties, go to ports tab and uncheck 'enable bidirectional support' box or see thie website http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01672454&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&rule=22909&product=3560280
Try to re-seat the cartridges in the printer. Open the printer
cover > remove the cartridges > close the printer cover > re-brick you
printer by pulling out the power supply - black box behind the printer where
the power cord is plugged in, and re-plug after 10 seconds. When the printer
turns on, reinsert the cartridges and close the cover. Try to print a document
again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't help, please try this approach:
From the Maintenance tab, select Align to fix blurry edges. Your printer will then print a page and aligning your print cartridges. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
