SOURCE: TP LINK ROUTER SINAL PROBLEM

The range in free air is 100-150 feet with the original antenna. Since you have at least two walls of unknown composition and 30 feet minimum of space between buildings, it's unlikely. that a straight connection will work. You might consider a TP-Link access point and 2 larger antennas to send the signal farther.

The antennas are at the bottom of this page:

About $80 gets you the AP and a pair of antennas.

SOURCE: cant access internet but can connect to wireless TP-link router

Your friend is able to go online using the same wireless network. that means the wireless network is working properly and there might be a problem with your computer .
You said that you can connect to the wireless network but you can not go online.
Check the IP address and the default gateway of the computer.
Try to ping the router and DNS server and check what happens.
Make sure that there is no static IP address on the computer.

Help Please! I have lost my ? mark and its been replaced with a french e. What can I do?

If you have Windows XP, go to Control Panel and double click the Regional and Language Options,

In the Regional and Language Options box that options box, Under the Regional Options Tab, use the first drop down menu to select Engligh (United States) and at teh bottom of the box under Location, make sure United States is selected there as well.

Click the Languages Tab then click the Details Button. Under the Settings Tab in the new box under Default Input Language, make sure ithe drop down menu is also set to English (United States) - US. Also make sure under Installed Services, below Keyboard it is set to US.

If you have Vista it is similiar. Go to the Control Panel in Classic View, and double click Regional and Language Options.

Click the Keyboards and Laguages Tab then click Change Keyboards Button.

Make sure the Default Input Language drop down menu is set to English (United States) and in Installed Services, under Keyboard, United States is selected.

For both XP and Vista, in Installed Services, if it is set to something other than US or United States you will have to click the Add button and select US or United States. After you add it, click to highlight the region you do not want then click the remove button

Keyboard types wrong letter

Hi,

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Under Pick a category, click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options.
  3. Under or pick a Control Panel icon, click Regional and Language Options.

The Regional and Language Options dialog box appears.
  4. On the Languages tab, click Details.

The Text Services and Input Languages dialog box appears.
  5. Under Installed services, click Add.

The Add Input language dialog box appears.
  6. In the Input language list, click the language that you want. For example, English (United States).

NOTE: When you use the United States-International keyboard layout, you should also use an English language setting.
  7. In the Keyboard layout/IME list, click United States-International, and then click OK.
  8. In the Select one of the installed input languages to use when you start your computer list, click Language name - United States-International (where Language name is the language that you selected in step 6), and then click OK.
  9. In the Regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.

Notice that the Language bar appears on the taskbar. When you position the mouse pointer over it, a ToolTip appears that describes the active keyboard layout. For example, United States-International.
  10. Click the Language bar, and then click United States-International on the shortcut menu that appears.
Thanks,
Armymason
