I have a Advent ADV35 mobile DVD player. When placing DVD in unit, it starts to load then rejects and will not play.

ours did the same thing but kept the dvd, we had to replace it, dvd player gears went...

1. No disc. - Load a disc into the tray.
2. Disc has been loaded upside down. Place the disc with the label side up.
3. Disc region code does not match region code of the player.
4. Disc type is not the correct type to play.
5. Disc is damaged or dirty. Clean the disc or try another.
6. Moisture may be condensed inside the unit. Remove the disc and the leave the power on for one or two hours.

my dvd player will not let me load a cd -- can "force: it in - takes it almost all the way then ejects it

good day, regardless of the brand it maybe an optic lens problem but i suggest that you buy something branded, much better and worry free. hope this helps

Hello there:
I would first check to see if eye is not scratched or dirty and clean it if nesassary..
If you unplug the unit for a few minutes it should reset it's self.ok
and good luck on the drive i am a retired navy vet and know what you are going thru with the move.

I fixed it for good by sending the unit to DVD player heaven!
