I have an adidas adp3190 performance watch. the face says "turn bezel" and has a picture of an arrow in the shape of a circle going counter clockwise. When i turn the bezel it goes black then says R2

I have an adidas adp3190 performance watch. I just went top it on and when i looked at the face it says "turn bezel" and has a picture of an arrow in the shape of a circle going counter clockwise. So i turn the bezel like it says and after about 3 turns it beeps and lights up everything on the face then goes black. Then it says "R2" and the cycle repeats. What does this mean and how do i fix it?

SOURCE: How do you switch off the sound

For my casio calculator watch (mod no. 437438), I go into the calculator mode and press the button below the one that pops out at the side (don't know the correct term for it sorry). Pressing that button will mute the sounds of your watch, if you want to retrieve the sound, do the same thing again.

Fossil do not have a list of instructions under model numbers but issue a list of generic instructions which you have to wade through to find the one that suits your watch.

Go to http://www.fossil.com/en_US/shop/customer_care/static/fossil-Instructions.html and put your cursor over each of the ones listed in the Multifunction section until you reach the one that looks nearest yours and download the file.

My watch beeps every hour & alarms every 3 hours. How do I remove this?

Adidas do not list their watch instructions by model but give a complete list of all the various models they make, including a picture of the watch face.

If you go to http://www.adidas.com/campaigns/watches_fw07/content/index.asp?strCountry_adidascom=us you can click on the language and arrive at a list which you can scroll down until you find the instructions that apply to you watch.

(I suspect that you press the mode button (8 O'clock) to arrive at alarm (AL?) and the press the one at 4 O'clockto disable it but to be sure you need to find the correct instructions) Good luck!

Grab the knurled edge of the bezel and turn counter clockwise. It only moves in one direction- to the left, counter clockwise.

What are the dials? How do you set knobs? Can't move center knob.

The 3 dials are the chronograph for timing an event such as motor racing(a stop watch). The centre know (the crown) has to be unscrewned counter clockwise and then pulled out from the case at, first stage will allow changes to date, second to set the time.
The outside bezel is used as a means of measuring time, eg. 20min, from a random starting point and is often used for 'oxygen' time for diving.

Your watch comes with interchangeable bezels, not faces. Bezel is a ring or rectangle (depends what shape your watch has) surrounding a glass.
All bezels are mostly friction fitted,so, to remove your bezel you need to use a strong knife blade and press it between the bezel and the case. The bezel should lift up.
To get the bezel back you have to press it into place.
For changing the strap you have to turn watch upside down and using the knife or lug tool try to squeeze sprigbar end out of the watch lug. Sprinbar is the piece which holds a strap attached to watch. The end of springbar you will find exactly where the strap is attached to watch. Push it inwards and it must come out. The rest is like 2x2.
