Remove the back cover Place the phone with the back of the phone facing you. Pull up the back cover from the finger grip at the top of the cover. Note: Always turn off the power, and disconnect the charger and any other device, before removing the cover. <a></a>Avoid touching electronic components while changing the cover. Always store and use the device with the cover attached. Remove the battery After you have removed the back cover, insert your finger into the finger grip, and lift the battery from its compartment. Replace the battery <ol> <li>Insert the gold-colored contact end of the battery into the battery slot. </li> <li>Push down on the other end of the battery to snap it into place. </li></ol> Replace the back cover Place the back cover on the phone bottom first so that the cover tabs align with the slots in the phone and press the cover moving from the bottom to top until the cover is securely in place.

How to remove back cover ?

Before you remove the back cover, need to unscrew the nails from the back cover. then remove the keyboard (carefully remove the connector ribbon cable), then the top cover nails, after carefully removing the ribbon cables. Then the screws for the display panel. Remove the nails in the motherboard following the markings of the manufacturer. Finally you can take off the back cover separately as required. This procedure has to be followed and the experience is a must to avoid damages to the equipment. Get some professional advice before proceeding.

Removal of engine cover

Pry apart the back cover by guiding the flat-head screwdriver along the separating line between the front and back covers of the iPhone. When the back cover is apart from the front cover, flip the back cover off the iPhone, but be careful because a flat cable that goes to the motherboard connects the two covers.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back Cover?

1) Display Cover: The plastic cover that is on the opposite side of the LCD screen. Sometimes referred to as Top Cover.

Display Assembly is removed from laptop first, then LCD screen assembly is removed from the Display Cover.

2) Base Enclosure: The plastic bottom part of the notebook.
A laptop is disassembled from the Top down to the Bottom.

The bottom 'cover' (Base Enclosure) is not removed first. It is last.

3) There is no back cover per se. Half of the cover for the back (Bottom half) is part of the Base Enclosure. The top half is part of the Palm Rest.

(The back has the Vent in it)

To remove back leg: pull off round end caps where leg connects to back (pressure fit). Then remove black stickers covering screw holes at base of leg. Under stickers are 4 screws - remove and lift off leg assembly.

Remove back cover: remove 7 black screws from back (one hiding under warranty sticker). Lift back from bottom edge (pressure connections on top edge). Back cover will catch on cd/dvd tray door - bend slightly to get around.

Under back cover is metal cover. Remove screws from around edge holding back cover on (note that most screws you will see in pairs - only remove the one holding the metal cover, not the one holding the chassis). Lift off metal cover.

You should now see hdd. One screw holding in position - remove screw, slide out hdd (it will have a metal frame around it). HDD is a 2.5" laptop style.

Swap out hdd from its frame, then re-assemble.

How do I remove the Laset Unit?

Looking from the front of the printer. Unclip the left hand cover from the back and the right hand cover from the front. At the back you will see four screws holding the back cover on. remove these along with the back cover.Then you'll see two screws at the back holding the grey top cover on, remove these and the one screw at the front . Remove the top grey cover and in the middle of the printer you'll see a black plastic box, this is the scanner.

"remove this panel so you can remove that panel so you can slide the
carriage holder and unscrew the fenortnor rods."
"Flex the case in the middle and the undercarriage will drop out."
"Slide the front cover a couple inches left and remove screws, then
turn it around and lift the cover one inch to remove third screw."

My paper is jammed in the back roller of the printer...I can see it but can't get to it...does the back come off?

Yes.

Pull back cover ALL the way down.
remove 2 silver screws
pull off back cover...difficult but doable
remove tall gray cover on left
remove black wiring cover on right, unplug 2 connectors and keeper
remove 2 silver screws
remove curved feed guide in front of fuser bottom.
pull out fuser
reassemble
