SOURCE: task-bar & start-menu disappeared

Just do as I say - it will be ok and sort itself out - the screen will not go blank and the drivers are still installed in Windows and will just be reinstalled, thus associating themselves with the card again. No internet connection is needed and the drivers will be reinstalled automatically without the need for user input.

To gain access to that which is 'off screen' push the mouse against the edge of the screen and it should move the display into view

Cant get bottom gray bar volume bar to go back to original size

hmm depending of the operation system you have .. it should let you down size it .. but if it does not .. it may be a problem with some tool bars being made and you have to remove them by right click on them and uncheck teh tool bar line .. or .. remove by the quick launch ..and will let you downsize it after that ..
the lock bar have to be removed also ..and to do that is the same procedure.. click right on the bar..and remove the lock task-bar ..After that try to see if it let you downsize it

Tool bar moved t right and is large

Right click on the task bar (I assume you mean the bar that is typically at the bottom of your desktop?)
Make sure "Lock the Task bar" is not checked
Click on the border of the task bar
drag directly from where you clicked to the bottom
Adjust height accordingly

How to get the task bar to it natural size?

It is possible to make the task bar taller than it is by default, and this is the only way that I know of to change the size of the task bar, so I have to assume that you are asking how to take the task bar back down to the original "tallness." You would put your mouse cursor at the top of the task bar until it turns into a double-headed arrow, and then click down and drag the top edge toward the bottom of the screen until it is the normal height. If the task bar is locked, this cannot be done, so make sure it is unlocked by right-clicking on an empty spot on the task bar and make sure that "lock task bar" is not checked first.
