go into the multimedia, then to AT&T Music, then Music Player. There you can choose between All Songs, Playlists, Artist, Albums, or Genres, tap a song to play. its in the quick start guide that came with the phone, under play music. it works great.
thanks.
Make sure that you got all of your songs off of itunes, or that they have been converted through itunes correctly. This is caused by songs being the wrong format, or that the song itself is corrupted. Try restoring the unit through itunes, and loading the songs back on. If you are running with your unit while trying to listen music this can also cause the unit to freeze up when playing a song. Any type of continuous motion can cause your ipod to not play songs. This is because the ipod has a hard drive inside of it, and when you move alot with a hard drive it cant read correctly. If you want to run with your unit, i would suggest getting a flash drive based mp3 player (ie itouch). If you have any further questions feel free to contact www.wiredextreme.com.
The mp3 player thing I can help with. I have the same phone and it used to do that but then I worked out that you have to press a button when the backlight turns off while the song is playing. So say you're halfway through listening to a song and the screen goes black, press a button so the screen goes colour again. Do this at least once while the song is playing.
I had a similiar problem. Apparently when you download music from limewire etc. and upload the music to your iriver, you can upload viruses also. Limewire is very dodgy for this. I'd say delete those songs that are freezing from your player and computer, they may be infected and causing the freeze.
You can thank Microsoft for creating Digital Rights Management.
Okay...I'm assuming this is an MP3 that you loaded using the Rhapsody-to-go or other music service that allows for subscription music.
What the MP3 player is telling you is that because you have subscription music and not purchased music, the DRM allows you to only play the song or songs 30-90 days after download. To continue to listen to the songs, you will need to open your Media Manager software (Best Buy Digital Music Service, Rhapsody, WMP11, Media Monkey, etc) connect your MP3 player to the PC, identify the MP3 player through the media manager and tell it to re-authorize your tracks. Once its finished you'll be able to play your songs for another 30-90 days. You will need to repeat this re-authorizing to continue to play the tracks.
Go out and sell it on ebay. Say only one problem with it. And under description say special software needed to use correctly. make sure it is at a low price and yoou put correctly, cuz half th people on ebay dont use the things correctly.
Try to do a firmware update on the device..if thats doesnt solve the problem contact coby...its a well known problem with the sandisk devices but i am not sure if its the same for coby...
