Cannot burn a DVD

I've got a problem where Nero errors at 94% each time
I try to burn a DVD-R. I've tried Nero 7, and the burn always fails at 94%.
Interestingly, a DVD-RW burning the same data finishes fine.

DVD/CD-ROM drive: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560A

Try freeware program burnatonce, it's smaller and has same functionality, maybe not too much of graphics, but gives you all the details, even about the cd-r/dvd-r u use, it is worth trying.

Dvd writing failing.

Your machine has more than enough specs to to the job

DVD's speeds are preset by the dvd itself under normal circumstances so trying to change speed may well cause it to fail.

If your dvd says 16x then the burning program will sense that and adjust accordingly.
If you try to burn faster the speed listed on your dvd then it is almost certain to fail.

Nero has tools that help to set it up for the drive that it is going to burn with nero speed and the info tool that usually ships with nero will run diagnostics on the drive and save these setting to use with the burning side of the programs.

I would suggest you re-set anything you might have changed in nero then run the tools and try again.

If you still have any issues post any further information back to this post so that we can assist you easier.

try using a burning program wothy of the attempt.real player works off a basic set of drivers and fails on many occasions. if your burning from dvd to dvd use dvdfab version 5.0 or higher. this will right past any copyrights. or if burning from files use nero version 7.0 or higher. anything less is a waist of time.

Factory default disc on acer 4520G

Hello,

If you have Nero of Power ISO installed you can right click the .iso file and there should be a command in the shortcut menu that states "burn with Nero" or burn iso with Power ISO, etc. this should apply to other disc burning software you have installed.

As you may know, .iso files are a compressed disc image file that contains the data layout for a complete CD or DVD. Most of the time, burning an iso image from first opening your disc burning software is more difficult but can be done by hunting through your software's menu commands.

Hope this has fixed ya!

DVD Writer not working

Hi,
the device has a power callibration error, meaning that it cannot apply sufficient power to the laser head, to burn your disks.
Alternatively the laser head may be-weak, out of alignment.
this is a Drive error, you can try a CD head cleaning Disk.
The problem, could also relate to the motherboard not supplying enough power the actual drive itself.
ensure you have a full battery, and A/C adaptor into the laptop.
also try uninstalling-re-installing nero.
if all this fails, consider a repair or re-placement DVD Rom.

Hi,
It could be a problem of the version you are using with Nero 7, try upgrading. It also could be that you are try to burn the DVD RW at a speed it cannot be burned (say 4x), try burning it at 2x.

Nero dvd

Hiya, No No No! Nero Don't know any differance If the movies you have downloaded NEW OR OLD are illegal or not Nero is just a program that burns data to a dvd or cd disc Try Unistalling the full program Vir - START - Settings - Control Panel - Add & remove programs and then Re-Installing it Or better still Download a cracked version of Nero Premium 7 from any of these links http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=nero premium 7 Enjoy!!
