The 1600 series Bosch tankless water heaters, including the GWH1600H LP water heater, do not support a LP to NG gas conversion. Bosch does sell a gas conversion kit, 8719002176 , for the 2400/2600 and a few other water heater models. See http://www.prowaterheatersupply.com/bosch-therm-gas-conversion-kit-8719002176.html for the applicable models.

I wish that I had better news for you. See http://bosch-tankless-water-heaters.blogspot.com/2012/05/gas-conversion-for-bosch-retail-gas.html for some of the details. (The professional model water heaters are more likely to support gas conversion. However, it depends on the specific water heater burner/exhaust designs.)

Recently purchased Frig. gas stove.Want to convert from natural gas to Lp.Do you remove spud and insert Lp oriface in spud then screw spud back onto line?Lp oriface is a lot smaller than oriface for...

Not really sure which model you have but when converting the over, ether bake or broil burner you tighten down the orfice cap. If you remove the burner off the oven valve you will notice that you can put a wrench on the orfice cap. Just tighten snuggly. If you over tighten you will crush the orfice under the cap.

How do i change from lp gas to natural gas on wall oven

First thing you will need to do is find out from the manufacturer of the oven if there is a conversion kit available and if the appliance is convertable. If there is then you can order the kit and follow the installation instructions. Also check the back of the oven for an envelope that may contain the gas orfice replacement heads to convert the appliance to natural gas. If you find the replacement orfice then you will need to remove the lp orfice from the burner and install the natural one. Then the appliance gas regulator will need to have the pressure adjusted lower for natural gas. There is usually a removable cap on top of the regulator on the oven. When you remove this cap there is usually a small metal ring that you can remove and flip over. It will say "nat" on one side and "lp" on the other. You will need to turn this ring over and re-insert so it displays "nat". This will change the gas pressure from 13 inches W.C. to 4 inches W.C. Some appliances only require the orfice change and no regulator adjustment but make sure that is the case with your oven because if you feed 13 inches W.C. pressure to a burner with a natural gas orfice...YOU WILL GET A HUGE BURNER FLAME AND MAY BURN/FLASH YOURSELF...So use extreme caution when converting a gas appliance. And if the oven has a pilot you will need to adjust the pilot pressure or change it's orfice if it has one. If it is electronic ignition no adjustment to that will be needed. Also unplug the electrical power the the unit while working on it.

Converting Dacor ERD30S06CH/LP/H to Natural Gas

I know they won't convert gas water heaters but I didn't know they were afraid of stoves. See if your gas company will help. Sometimes they can drill out the orfices. Some of the older repair people still remember how to do this. The orfice for natural gas is larger as the pressure is a lot less. The gas pressure regulator will also need to be replaced. This can be done with a generic part.
